Elizabeth Zunon is an illustrator and writer of children’s books, including Grandpa Cacao, A Tale of Chocolate from Farm to Family, published by Bloomsbury Childrens Books. She grew up in the Ivory Coast, went to art school in the United States, and now lives in upstate New York. Her work is largely influenced by the people, places, and things from her childhood in the Ivory Coast as the product of two cultures. Her new book, Off to See the Sea, by Nikki Grimes, is published by Sourcebooks Jabberwocky.
