Most Saratoga Book Festival events will once again be FREE and open to the public. 

Keynote Sessions will have a small admission fee.

All events take place in downtown Saratoga Springs. Refer to map and directions for venue locations.

There are parking lots throughout downtown. Click here to see the various garages and lots that are available.  Additional parking is also available nearby the Saratoga Springs City Center 522 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

Saratoga Book Festival is proud to support Northshire Bookstore and encourages attendees to purchase festival books before the Festival at northshirebookstore.com or at the store’s location on 424 Broadway. Books will also be sold after each venue immediately following the session.  Many authors will remain after their sessions to sign books. Ask at each venue for details.

Running a book festival truly takes a village, or in this case, a fleet of dedicated volunteers. Whether you would like to participate in the planning of the Festival or support the many events on the day of, please complete this volunteer application.

The Saratoga Book Festival is committed to providing a safe environment at our events free of harassment, discrimination, and threatening or disrespectful behavior for all attendees, authors, industry professionals, moderators, volunteers, exhibitors, staff, media, and members of the general public. 

We do not tolerate harassment in any form and reserve the right to remove from any Saratoga Book Festival event those who engage in harassing behavior including but not limited to unwanted advances, stalking, verbal threats, inappropriate statements or gestures, sustained disruption of speakers, and disrespectful comments that go beyond the boundaries of civil disagreement and civic discourse. This may include remarks or actions that target people based on certain characteristics that include but are not limited to, race, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or disability status.

The Saratoga Book Festival welcomes attendees and participants of all ages, abilities, physical appearances, body sizes, races, religions, genders, gender identities and expressions, and sexual orientations. Together, we can create a welcoming and accepting environment for people to discuss books and ideas.

Saratoga Book Festival is committed to your safety. The festival’s team is monitoring the situation closely and will continue to follow guidance from our venues and local public health officials that may change the Festival format. Please check back periodically for the latest updates.

Important: For the Keynote session with Meg Wolitzer, all attendees and participants will need to show proof of vaccination and wear masks to enter at the request of our author. Thank you for your cooperation.
