Applications are now open to Exhibit at SBF 2022!

We are excited to announce that the Saratoga Book Festival will hold its first ever Literary Marketplace on Festival Saturday, October 22, 2022, in the Saratoga Springs City Center! SBF’s Literary Marketplace welcomes applications from authors, publishers, literary organizations, cultural and educational organizations, and businesses (book-related businesses are encouraged to apply). Now in its second year, the Saratoga Book Festival expects to fill downtown Saratoga once again with book lovers of all ages and diverse interests. The event is advertised and promoted throughout the region, and attendees come from across the Capital area to hear presentations by renowned authors and speakers. Exhibitors at the Literary Marketplace will have opportunities to network with each other, meet and talk with attendees, and sell books, goods, and services.

The Saratoga Springs City Center is the hub of the Saratoga Book Festival. Readings, general sessions, youth programming, book signings, and more will be scheduled at the City Center throughout the day. There is something for everyone at Saratoga Springs City Center on festival day!

Exhibiting at the Literary Marketplace brings great visibility for your books, products, or services to an engaged, media-savvy audience who like to find new reads and experiences. With nearly a hundred applicants already, the Literary Marketplace will be a lively new addition to the Saratoga Book Festival. The marketplace is open to the public free of charge to encourage people to come, browse, and grab a coffee or bite to eat.

Pricing and Deadlines

Applications due: September 2, 2022

Pricing includes:

  • One table with 2 chairs (shared booths 3 chairs)
  • One I.D. sign
  • One vendor listing in event map and one listing on website
Authors: $50
Publishers, universities, writing coaches and literary organizations: $100
Non-book-related businesses: $150 
 
Important Information
  • Applications are processed on a first come, first served basis. We will let you know within five business days if your application is accepted. Upon acceptance, you will need to send a check or submit payment on our website to reserve your space. THANK YOU!!!
  • Exhibitors may not resell their space or charge authors to be represented at the Festival.
  • No refunds for cancellations after September 15, 2022. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@saratogabookfestival.org.
  • Placement of exhibitors is determined by festival organizers and will be sent to you by September 30, 2022.
  • SBF will continue to monitor the CDC and local authorities for COVID-19 safety recommendations. We ask that anyone applying for exhibit space agrees in advance to comply with COVID-19 protocols that SBF or our venues require, including the very real possibility that it will be necessary to require everyone to wear masks at SBF indoor events.
  • If the Saratoga Book Festival needs to cancel due to ANY unforeseen circumstance – including government shutdowns – vendor fees already paid will be rolled over for next year’s festival.
  • Please know that SBF encourages diverse review points. We do, however, reserve the right to deny space at the Marketplace to anyone exhibiting or distributing illegal, slanderous, or threatening materials, or encouraging violence.
