Phil Bayly

Phil Bayly is an award-winning television journalist and author of the Murder on Skis Mysteries. He has authored five novels under the Murder on Skis banner. His latest is The Man Who Had 9 Lives, which was a finalist for this year’s Colorado CIPA Book Award and The American Fiction Award. Phil’s next Murder on Skis Mystery comes out in November. It is titled A Small Mountain Murder.

Phil spent 42 years in television and radio newsrooms from Colorado to Wyoming to Pennsylvania to New York. He was a reporter and anchor in the state capital of New York State. Many viewers remember him as anchor of the popular morning news on Newschannel 13 WNYT-TV in Albany.  Phil now resides in Saratoga County with his wife, Carolyn.
