Robert Boyers is Director of The New York State Summer Writers Institute, Editor of SALMAGUNDI Magazine and Professor of English at Skidmore College. He writes frequently for such magazines as HARPER’S, THE NATION, THE NEW REPUBLIC and many others. He is the author of eleven books, the most recent of which are The Tyranny of Virtue: Identity, The Academy & The Hunt for Political Heresies (2019) and The Fate of Ideas (2015).
