Jonathan Santlofer is the author of “The Last Mona Lisa” and 6 other novels, “The Death Artist,” “Color Blind,” “The Killing Art”, “The Murder Notebook,” and “Anatomy of Fear,” which won the Nero Wolfe Award for best crime novel of 2009. His acclaimed memoir, “The Widower’s Notebook” was at the top of many best books of 2018 lists and was a featured segment on Fresh Air with Terry Gross. He is the editor/creator of several anthologies, including the New York Times notable book “It Occurs To Me That I am America” and the New York Times best selling serial novel “Inherit the Dead.” Also an artist, Santlofer’s work is in many public and private collections, among them the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Art Institute of Chicago, and Tokyo’s Institute of Contemporary Art. He serves on the board of Yaddo, one of the oldest arts community in the U.S. and created the Center for Fiction’s CRIME FICTION ACADEMY. He lives in NYC where is is currently at work on a sequel to “The Last Mona Lisa.”
